Troy Prothero, President Troy is currently Supply Chain Manager for Food Lion in Salisbury, NC. He has a BA from the University of Washington and has also studied at the University of Southern California. Troy has also been active in the Junior Achievement program for many years. A native of Washington State, he moved to North Carolina in 2006 and is a member of Trinity Reformed United Church of Christ. |

Angela Orrock, Secretary/Treasurer Angela Orrock is serving her second term on the board. After becoming interested in Family Promise in 2004, she helped convince her church, Family of Faith Lutheran Church, to become one of the first local support congregations. Angela is originally from Minnesota, but moved with her family to North Carolina six years ago. She now works part-time at Northwest Cabarrus High School. |

Brant Piper Rev. Brant C Piper is the interim pastor at Eastfield Presbyterian Church, and has served as an interim at both First Presbyterian and Second Presbyterian churches of Kannapolis. He also serves as an Advanced Resident at the Presbyterian Samaritan Counseling Center. A resident of Concord, he has lived in Cabarrus County for almost 10 years, has previously served on the board of Cooperative Christian Ministries. |

Cathy Therrell Cathy Therrell is currently Clincial Services Director at Hospice and Palliative Care of Cabarrus County. She has an MSW from UNC Chapel Hill and is a Licensed Social Worker and has worked for several non-profits in the area. Cathy is a lifetime resident of North Carolina and has been in Cabarrus County for the last 15. She is a member of Trinity Reformed United Church of Christ. |

John Sell Chaplain John Sell has been ministering for almost fifty years. In addition to being a parish pastor and a chaplain, he has also served as a Director of an Alcoholism agency. He has a Masters of Divinity and has received extensive training in many areas including pastoral educationa and counseling. |
| Marian Greene Thompson Marian is currently a school counselor at West Rowan Middle School. She has an MA from South Carolina State University and a PhD from New Vision University. She is a native of South Carolina but has lived in Cabarrus County for the last sixteen years. Marian is a member of Mt. Calvary Holy Church Family Worship Center in Concord. |
