Welcome

Family Promise of Cabarrus County is a local affiliate of the National Interfaith Hospitality Network, serving Cabarrus and Southern Rowan Counties in North Carolina. We are comprised of a network of fourteen places of worship who will coordinate an environment that provides homeless families the opportunity to maintain a family unit and work toward independence. With the help of volunteers and houses of worship, we provide fourteen people a place to feel safe, access to phones, social services, job counseling, nutritious meals, and a safe place to sleep. While the Cabarrus County Night Shelter provides a wonderful service, this network will enable families to stay together as a unit, in a more private environment where they maintain a sense of family as well as obtaining assistance to help them find permanent housing.

Want to Be a Member of a Great New Club?

Club 252 is our new donation campaign and you can become a member when you contribute $252. That's how much it costs to operate Family Promise for one day. More details coming soon on the benefits of joining the club.

Change a Life Campaign

Your pocket change can make a difference for a family in Cabarrus County. Donation jars have been placed in many area churches to collect your spare change (or bills!) so drop in whatever you can spare when you see one. If your church doesn't have a jar, contact us and we'll get you one.

Food Lion Shop & Share Program

You can help raise money for Family Promise by registering your Food Lion MVP card with the Lion Shop and Share program. To sign up, go to the Food Lion website and click on Lion Shop and Share in the left hand menu. Follow the instructions that follow to register your cards. We are listed under NC>Kannapolis>Family Promise of Cabarrus County.
